Hi, My name is Madi and I am happy you have taken the time to check out my website and learn my story. It all began with my passion for animals and helping others. I've volunteered at shelters, animal hospitals, and for neighbors who needed pet sitting. When I entered the workforce, I was hired at a dog day care, vet, and grooming facility. In this role, I learned how to read dog body language, comfort the animals in uncomfortable situations, increase their interest in food when stressed, how to break up a fight, and much more. I loved being able to work in a room full of dogs - to love and learn from. I treated each one as if they were my own. In 2022, I was gifted my sweet girl - Tippi, an English Shepard and Miniature Poodle mix, who has become my whole world! Since adopting her, I have secured the following accreditations; AKC Partner, AKC CGC (Canine Good Citizen) Certification, has completed her first competition in Rally, an AKC dog sport focused on obedience, where she passed her first leg and needs to pass two more to earn her title, and AKC TKN (Trick Dog Novice). I loved what I was doing, but continued to yearn to be more involved in the canine community. My next job was with a prominent dog training facility where I started as a kennel tech. After a couple months, I was promoted to trainer. In that role, I refined my skills handling dogs, and was able to focus on behavior, personalities, and breed specific approaches to training. I decided to start my own business. I am pet CPR and First Aid Certified, I'm an AKC Evaluator (for S.T.A.R. Puppy, Canine Good Citizen, Community Canine, Urban Canine Good Citizen, Video Home Manners, and Trick Dog), have completed Dog Training 101 Seminar with Dustin Winn of North County Canine, am currently completing Robert Cabral's Dog Training School, and have two years hands on experience having had the opportunity to work with hundreds of dogs.
